At Skimpy Swimwear, we stand behind each of our products with a full money-back guarantee. Items can be sent back within 7 days of receiving them. Please inspect your items once you receive them. If the item received does not fit, we will be happy to exchange the item for a different size or style if it is postmarked and shipped back within 7 days of receiving them. Additionally, the items which are to be returned or exchanged MUST please meet the Return/Exchange Guidelines stated below. Due to health regulations, suits that are soiled, worn, damaged or laundered will not be accepted. If we receive such goods, unfortunately your account will be charged an additional $15 and the items will be returned back to you. In order to do a return or exchange, kindly email us at contact@skimpyswim.com to be assigned a Return Authorization Number. Please have this number clearly written on the front of the package being returned. Please indicate what items you are returning as well as what you would like in exchange in your email. If you choose instead to receive a store credit, the credit will remain on your Skimpy Swimwear account and will ONLY be redeemable by contacting a customer service representative. If you choose to completely return your items we will be happy to give a full refund of the items.
Exchanges / Repairs

For exchanges, a small shipping fee will be applied to send the new item.
Exchange Guidelines
- All items must have the original tags and liners in place with original packaging included.
- Merchandise must be in unworn and unwashed condition.
- We DO NOT accept exchanges for tampered items or evidence of alteration.
- Exchanges must include a copy of the receipt or invoice and must include the reason for exchange.
- Please use a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for lost packages in the mailing system.
Skimpy Swimwear guarantees it’s swimsuits to be free from damage or manufacturer defect for the first 60 days from date of the order was placed as long as the care instructions are followed. Skimpy Swimwear suits are very delicate and experience normal “wear and tear” over time. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please notify us within 7 days of receiving your merchandise and we will happily replace or exchange the unwashed and unworn item at no cost. Please contact Skimpy Swimwear for damages that occur after 60 days for more information.
Care Instructions
BEFORE YOU ROCK YOUR SKIMPY:
To prevent fading, bleeding, and to keep colors vibrant longer, soak new swimsuit for 30 minutes in a mixture of water and white vinegar (1 tbsp vinegar per 1 quart water).
AFTER ROCKING YOUR SKIMPY:
Rinse your swimsuit in cool water immediately following swimming in salt or chlorinated water.
Hand wash your suit with a mild soap to prolong its life – do not wash in the washing machine.
Wash newer suits by themselves until all excess dye washes out – bleeding of the dye is normal and will stop after a few washes.
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
Sun, tanning/bronzing lotions, tinted moisturizers, oils, harsh chemicals and minerals, salt water, chlorine, and extreme heat naturally put wear on any swimsuit and can turn it yellow; this is not a manufacturing defect. To prevent wear as much as possible, be careful to follow the care instructions above.
Skimpy Swimwear suits are extremely delicate in nature due to that they are constructed of the finest imported fabrics and trims. The suits are similar to fine lingerie and must be cared for similarly. While ALL of the suits can be worn in pool or ocean water, they are not intended for strenuous physical water activity or long periods of time in heavily chlorinated water.
All swimwear should be hand washed in cold water with very mild soap (such as specialty lingerie detergent). Lie flat or hang to dry. DO NOT USE WOOLITE! Using Woolite will alter the fine fabrics and trims in the suits.
