Calling Skimpy Swimwear just a Los Angeles brand is an understatement. The Los Angeles based, designed and manufactured brand is the labor of love for celebrity-hair-stylist-turned-bikini-designer Jherra Moreno. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Jherra Moreno has always had a passion for swimwear. A self-taught designer that sought to create bikinis that were not like the rest in the swimsuit industry. Jherra's search for designer swimsuits that were different and sexy was always a challenge. It eventually inspired her to design her own.

Skimpy Swimwear’s designer, Jherra Moreno, established Skimpy Swimwear in 2011. Since it’s launch, it has been one of the most talked about swimwear lines that captures appeal of the Los Angeles lifestyle. For the last two seasons, Moreno’s designs and creative direction has built her brand by focusing on sexy and curve enhancing styles. Jherra found the overall inspiration for Skimpy Swimwear in her city, the city of angels, and would blend elements together of an upscale street style into her line. Skimpy’s style has set itself apart in the swimwear industry. Inspired by the sweet life of L.A and the hot summer nights of Cali, each collection fuses vivid color palettes and prints.

The Signature Skimpy ‘Sweetheart cut’ bottoms accentuates the bottom, giving every woman enviable curves. The bottoms feature ruche backing and are lined with Skimpy’s very own “no slip grip” rubber hearts to avoid shifting.
